On August 28, 2018, the Symposium on Precision Oncology Large Cohort and Phenomics, hosted by the Human Phenome Institute (HuPI) of Fudan University, was successfully held in Shanghai.

Professor Guisheng Chang (Vice Chairman of Henan Anti-Cancer Association), Professor Binghua Jiang (Director of Academy of Medical Sciences of Zhengzhou University), Professor Lirong Zhang (Dean of School of Basic Medical Sciences), Professor Yanru Qin (Director of Department of Oncology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University), and Professor Shegan Gao (Dean of Henan University of Medicine) were invited to visit the Human Phenome Institute. Subsequently, with Professor Leming Shi (HuPI), Professor Huiru Tang (HuPI), Professor Chen Ding (HuPI), and Professor Sijia Wang (Shanghai Institute of Nutrition and Health, Chinese Academy of Sciences), they conducted extensive and in-depth discussions on “esophageal cancer treatment and pheomics research” and reached an agreement to further cooperate in the development of esophageal cancer pheonomics research.

The relevant officials in charge of WuXi NextCODE, Jiangsu Maijian Biotechnology Development Co., Ltd. and ZhengZhou Broad&Precision Medical Laboratory Co., Ltd. also participated in the symposium.
