4. Director of the Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine Research Group, Chinese Society of Endocrinology (CSE);

5. The founder and the former director of Liver Disease and Metabolic Disorders Research Group, Chinese Society of Endocrinology (CSE);

  Research Interests

1. Established “The Shanghai Changfeng Study” which is a community-based prospective cohort study of multiple chronic diseases among middle-aged and elderly. The objectives of this study is to explore the related mechanism between obesity, adiposis hepatica and the diseases of diabetes, angiocardiopathy, osteoporosis and some tumors

2. To investigate the mechanisms of obesity and non-alchohol fatty liver diseases

3. To explore the mechanisms of Berberin in regulating glucose and lipids metabolic pathway

4. To initiate clinical trials for assessing new drugs or new indications for treating diabetes, obesity, NAFLD
