 Research Interests

The Qiu Lab’s research interests focus on the development of the next-generation of non-viral nanoparticle delivery systems and their application in the treatment of a variety of diseases, including cancer and inherited disease.

Research thesis:

  • Design and synthesis of biodegradable lipid nanoparticles (LNPs)

  • Application of LNPs for the treatment of animal models of human diseases

  • Engineering of LNPs to control the tissue and/or cell tropism of LNPs

  • Understanding and manipulating the Nano-Bio interactions between NPs and cells or tissues in vivo
