Research Interests
The Qiu Lab’s research interests focus on the development of the next-generation of non-viral nanoparticle delivery systems and their application in the treatment of a variety of diseases, including cancer and inherited disease.
Research thesis:
Design and synthesis of biodegradable lipid nanoparticles (LNPs)
Application of LNPs for the treatment of animal models of human diseases
Engineering of LNPs to control the tissue and/or cell tropism of LNPs
Understanding and manipulating the Nano-Bio interactions between NPs and cells or tissues in vivo
