  工作经历

1982-1986年就读于石河子大学获学士学位,1992-1995年就读于华南农业大学获硕士学位,1995-1998年就读于中国科学院昆明动物研究所获博士学位;1998-2000年在中国预防医学科学院流行病学微生物学研究所从事博士后研究;2001-2020年9月在中国疾病预防控制中心传染病预防控制所从事传染病的预防控制及病毒生物学研究。2020年10月起在上海市公共卫生临床中心从事传染病与病毒学研究。中华医学会热带病与寄生虫学分会候任主任委员。

近年来,带领研究团队在世界上率先发现了2000余种新病毒,是世界上发现全新病毒最多的实验室。新发现的楚病毒、秦病毒、赵病毒、魏病毒等在分类上处于重要位置,荆门病毒是世界首个被发现的将基因组分节段与不分节段两类病毒建立起遗传进化关联的病毒;楚病毒不但是世界上已知基因组最复杂多样的负链RNA病毒,而且也是世界上发现的第一个具有环状基因组以及能将基因组分节段与不分节段负链RNA病毒建立遗传关联的病毒。全新发现的病毒不但填补了病毒进化上的空白,而且展现了RNA病毒进化上的连续性与漫长的进化历史,系统揭示了RNA病毒遗传进化规律,重新界定了RNA病毒圈。另外,部分新发现的病毒已被证明能引起人类疾病,如温州病毒、荆门病毒、楚病毒等。

带领研究团队于2020年1月5日率先解析出新冠病毒的全基因组,并作出精准判断。1月11日率先向全球公布新冠病毒的全基因序列,为全球抗疫奠定了基础,为国家赢得了国际社会的高度赞誉。

研究结果受到国际同行的高度评价,Nature(1次)、Nat Rev Microbiol(5次)、EMBO J、eLife、Trends Microbiol、PLoS Pathogens、医学1000等配发专门的论文及图片高度评价其科学意义。有关荆门病毒的研究发现已被美国普林斯顿大学等编著的经典教材《Principle of Virology》第四版与第五版收录,并给予高度评价。多次应邀在国际学术研讨会、2018德国与日本病毒学年会上作大会主题报告,以及到国外著名大学讲学等。Nature、Nature Review Microbiol等期刊的审稿专家。
